The house was built in 1902 by Gustave Albert (G.A.) Garver and Viola Baltzley Garver. Gustave was the son of Phillip A. Garver,
who was a Civil War Veteran. The home is a four square colonial home. The solid oak woodwork is original and the foyer has a three story open staircase.
The original hardwood floors on the main floor are outlined with inlays. Each room has a different design. There are five stained glass windows and four fireplaces.
